I just hope Vanes has the sense to see through Roaches self promotion, and keep working like he's the underdog, because he is.

Vanes had trouble with Roman and don't know why. Roman should have been easy work for him because he was painstakingly slow. Roman was loading up every shot he threw. Martirosyan should have seen those shots coming and he should've taken advantage of that. With Canelo he doesn't load up, he throws 4-5 punch combinations and he makes sure they land. I think Canelo stops Vanes in the 7th or 8th round. Either way it should be a great fight.

Little reward for Canelo if he faces Vanes. Only boxing fans and Vanes aunts and uncles know who he is. Golden Boy and Top Rank need to come up with a deal for this fight to happen.

Maybe Canelo fights Vanes only if Victor Ortiz/Pac gets signed. That's the only way I see vanes getting a shot at Alvarez.
