What does that say about boxing? where every other sport at some point and time has the best versing the best what would it say about boxing if the two best fighters in the sport never get in the ring? How can boxing survive? Has there every been in the history of boxing an era where the clear cut two best boxers (In close enough weight divisions) didn't get in the ring? To me it wouldn't matter who gets accused of being at fault everyone will suffer if this doesn't happen.

Look at how the sport has fallen from the public eye. Larry i know you remember when everyone was in their house in front of a tv for the fight. I remember going to the barber shop and all ANYONE could talk about was the next fight

Big fights were actually on TV. Now all that are worth watching either fall on a premium channel or pay per view.

Exactly how many sanctioning bodies are there now? how many people in each division can claim to be a champ? its gotten ridiculous Although the d1ctator style has its drawbacks you can't deny that if you are a fan or mma you know as soon as there is a clamoring for two people to fight it happens.

Whats even worser is that both Floyd and Manny will now be ducking Victor Ortiz. Manny will continue to fight guys who are either slow, old, out their weight class, or weight drained, and if Mayweather comes back he will be fighting those same types of opponents. Its sad really that boxing has come to this.
