Froch: Reid, Pascal, Taylor, Abraham, Dirrell*, Johnson

Hatton: Kostya, Maussa, Collazo, Urango, Castillo*, Malignaggi

I'll go with Froch at this point.

Theres no doubt. Hatton's best win was against a shot Tszyu.

Hatton beat an old Tszyu but still Tszyu, which is better than anything on Froch's resume right now. Froch's best win is the Abraham fight, I think. Maybe the Taylor fight. Hatton's only two losses are to top 10 all-time fighters. Froch dropped a close one to Kessler and clearly lost to Dirrell. It's Hatton right now. But if Froch beats Ward, it's probably even.

Imo where Hatton falls down is that if you take off Pac/May (which you have to, there was nothing in those fights to "add" to his resume) you are left with old Tszyu who unfortunatley retired straight after so didnt "seal" hattons victory with any form afterwards, so you are left with Urango, Collazo, Maglinaggi and co who are all a step down from Taylor, Pascall, Dirrell, Abraham and Johnson imo.

Froch could have battered a bunch of guys like Steigletz, Andrade, Green, magee etc, basically gone the bute route and had abraham, pascall and johnson in between and that would be simmilar to hattons resume, but he has gone back to back to back against former champs and come out looking good, something hatton never came close to doing

completely agree with this, especially the part about tszyu. i knew people would take notice of the cobra if he just kept on doing what hes been doing.
hatton was an exciting brawler who had an enormous following but his resume aint the best

just because hatton fought 3 hall of famers dosent mean his resume is better than frochs, he was completely dismantled by floyd and knocked out cold by manny, these 2 fights do nothing for hattons leagacy
