Froch's condition was superb. He certainly was in second gear throughout the fight. Froch had great energy throughout the fight and is exciting to watch. But I gotta pull for SOG Ward to take the Super Six title. These two guys dominates the super middleweight division, and are proven goods, unlike Lucian Bute.

froch continues to show new dimensions. he is starting to take the ambush style flurries from pacquiao. and he has mastered controlling range. he really isn't as slow as we all thought. it's just that for the style he fights, we are used to seeing fighters as fast as roy jones jr.

honestly what's the point of even fighting if you already have a loss? he will never catch calzaghe, ottke or any of the super middle greats. i guess he has to make a living but i hope he's not too invested in this boxing career.

Haha good one. Bernard Hopkins lost his first ever fight. Ali lost to Frazier in their first meeting yet is regarded as the better boxer. Even if Froch retired now he'd have a better legacy than most boxers out there. He's a 2 time world champion, beaten some of the best boxers in the current generation. He should be a superstar right now.
Dont think he'd beat Calzaghe, but then who could, eh? No-one.

Carl Froch can beat Bute, any Super 6 contestant can.

But I don't see him beating Ward. And I don't see him beating Dirrell on neutral grounds. I also see him losing to Kessler if he goes for that rematch he said he wants.

All I can say is that Bute is a much better fighter than a washed Taylor or an old ass Johnson or a cement footed King Arthur.

that's my point. he will never be able to catch calzaghe because he lost to someone calzaghe beat. it's over for him. chasing a legacy is impossible. he should make as much money as possible and then make like a tree and leave.
