Seriously, why in the hell is K9 vs Powell not getting shown on HBO? You have one world titlist from the states fighting another American and they pass on it as the opener to show some unknown Canadian versus a washed up fighter.....I'm a fight fan and not only is the K9 fight a world title bout(which the other one isn't), it's between two Americans. I like American fighters and like watching them fight, I could careless about Stiverne(before you jump on me, I've seen the guy fight live. I know what he's about.), he isn't going to accomplish much in his career anyways. HBO is ***ing this choice up and I want to know why they felt like they needed to go down this route.
What is wrong with HBO? I want reasons why K9 isn't getting shown.

I was shocked that the third fight they will be the Austin/Stiverne fight over K9. TBH, they should show all four but if they are going to show 3 why pass on k9 v powel? **** doesn't make sense to me.Comment

wait....they are showing the Austin fight? lmao :SMH: I figured they were only showing two fights that's why K9 wasn't on.
K9 vs Powel on paper should be a great battle and he's a champion. Who the hell cares about Austin vs Stiverne???
I hope they at least have a stream online. Not sure if Don King does that with undercard fights like Top Rank & Golden Boy often do.Comment

Have you ever actually watched K-9 fight? The dude is one of the most boring fighters to watch next to John Ruiz. He constantly clinches and gasses out. I remember watching his last fight and swearing I'd never watch another fight of his again.Comment

Yes, I've seen him fight and met him a few times. Regardless it doesn't change the fact that it's two Americans fighting for a belt on an American television station. Bumping that for a washed up fighter vs a guy that really hasn't done much at all, doesn't make sense to me.Comment
