Good question. Haven't heard much from after the Leija fight. The kid has ability, but doesn't seem to have the will to get the most out of his talent.

Hopefully he gets himself right, he has great potential.

But he didint have his trainer in his corner due to the fact that FM Sr was training De La Hoya for Hopkins at the time, which is why it puzzled me. Unlike most mexicans, he could move and throw good combinations, he didint just stand there and make every fight into a war, he could move and get out of the way. Not that i have anything against mexican fighters or their ability, but his style was just not like most mexican fighters, which is why he intruiged me.

He got exposed in that fight and probably called it quits when he couldn't beat a 37 year old man.

Its a conspiracy man! DLH didnt' want Bojado to be the DLH and purposely took away FM sr. to train DLH instead of be in Bojado's corner. Remember boxing is as much mental as it is physical and Bojado mentally is still immature. He had JJL down in the fight, but couldn't do anything after that...suxs b/c I thought one day he'd fight against PBF.

Watch Bojado sign with Golden Boy Promotions LOLZ!

Pretty much, you hit it right as far as having the physical tools to take it to the top, but seems to enjoy the finer things in life that being a hot prospect is given rather than sweating it out in the gym. I actually wasn't as surprised as alot of people were at the turnout of the fight w/ JJL, eventhough I picked Bojado. I think he realized that a career in professional boxing isn't gonna be a bed of roses. I doubt he'll be back and if he is he'll probably look lackluster. Dude has terrific talent but not quite DLH material. Man if he would've stayed active and had his heart in it, I wonder how a fight w/ Diaz(the one that fought Jose Luis Castillo) would've turned out.

I am a big fan of Bojado, and hope he eventually comes back. I too have been wondering for a long time what happened to him. I am glad somebody finally posted this thread, but it seems that nobody has heard anyhting from him. I beleive that he still has amazing potential, and could still someday be a dominant figure in boxing. He's still very young and this experience could be the best thing that ever happened to him.
