    correct

And I hope Slim realizes that he could've gotten the fight for half that amount

Doubt he cares either way, I think his net worth is in the 70 billions. Just hope it would air on CBS since with a $65 mil guarantee, PPV would be completely unnecessary.

If it's true, how can he say no? Would he took the test for Canelo?

I doubt Carlos offered that. Carlos is like a "chooo". He doesnt like money leaving his pockets unless its for tax write offs and bribes. The charity stuff is BS, just to show people hes a good guy. He made his money stabbing people in the back and bribing people.

If the offer is true than Manny will take the fight, fighting in Mexico all that money will be his and he wont have to pay anything like in greedy USA where they even tax lottery winnings (lol).

We need some Mexican/Russian Billionaires to get into the Boxing game and give people what they want to see.

I think in 10 years it will be like this, Arum and all the other promoters dont have the bankroll to compete and its a suprise they have been around this long. They dont seem rich at all. Sure they might have some millions but these Russian/ Mexican guys spend millions a year just on their mistresses cars.

I wonder if this backs up the story about the $65 mil offer from Singapore, would make sense. Slim probably went to Pac's people offering a fight and they countered that Singapore just offered $65 mil and for them to consider it, Slim would have to match it. Would be a hell of a coincidence if both parties randomly, independently offered the same crazy amount.

Why are most of you saying Slim is a crook or has dirty money?

Can anybody have more (way more) money then you without being corrupt or a crook?

because he is a crook. research him.

you don't get that kind of money without doing some shady stuff on the way. that includes bill gates, et al.

Alavarez? I guess that's understandable since he's probably Mexico's most popular fighter but he's still green. Fighting Pacquiao at this stage is going to ruin him in the same fashion Fernando was ruined by Tito, if not worse. Alvarez is like 10 years away from being ready for the likes of Pacquiao, and even that may not even be enough.

No one is turning down $65 million. If this is true Pacquiao is/should accept this. It would be the largest purse ever in boxing history topping DLH's 50 mil against PBF.
