JCC Jr. by one or two rounds. Zbik was landing punches in bunches, that were insignificant. The judges see that. Chavez was landing bombs to the body all night. Zbik will be pissing blood all week!

I feel bad for Chavez Jr though. He kept asking "I'm gonna win? I'm gonna win, right?" when Roach was trying to instruct him on the fight at hand. It seemed to me he is only trying to convince his critics, like us keyboard warriors that he belongs.

If you score like kellerman and use the "who would I have rather been that round" you would have picked Chavez for almost every round.

Chavez landed cleaner harder shots throughout the fight. Bodywork was killin it.....dude is gonna have a hard time when he fights someone with some pop.

Chavez punches didn't seem that hard especially early,

I had Zbik building up an early lead.

Chavez starting coming on, but he was still landing only a few punches.

I'll take the guy who lands 35 punches vs the guy who lands 10, Unless they 10 visibly hurt the guy.

I knew he'd get robbed though.

That's not a robbery. That's a close fight. If the judges had two rounds that were close going for Chavez when you picked Zbik in those rounds, then the decision goes the other way. That's VERY close.

A robbery is Martinez-Cintron. This was just a close fight.

In any event, I had Chavez winning, 116-112. I though that landed the more hurtful shots and while he was outworked, he made up for it with a constant body attack and landing the heavier hands.

Could have gone either way, but I just think Chavez did enough. A rematch would be cool.

Thats why you and I, my friend, aren't boxers. No way in hell you last the way Zbik did for 12 rounds, so how can you say those werent hard shots?? I bet you probably work in a bank or at Target or something.

I wanted Zbik to win, pulled for Zbik to win but Jr. definitely won. Thing is, I also had Zbik building an early lead and, early on, he was landing hard and effective punches. Problem is, he abandoned what was working for him and starting standing toe to toe with a much bigger guy. Big mistake. Also, holding behind Jr's head just left Zbik's body open, another mistake. Zbik could have won the fight but didn't, I felt he didn't get robbed but rather gave it away
