Whoever wins the Super Six should make Lucian Bute have to step up his quality of opposition before giving him a shot.
Why should they have gone through hell fighting good fighter after good fighter while Bute just sits there in Canada taking easy matches?Comment

Showtime is who needs to make Bute step up his competition. I cant beleive they paid Bute over a million $ to fight Magee - what? especially considerin the division is so deep. At least it looks like his next showtime fight will be tough. It seems as if Bute will fight Mendy (IBF #1 contender) who isnt a top 10 supermiddle, but is better than Magee; then he'll fight Kessler in the fall around the same time as Ward v. Froch - and if Bute wins, he'l fight the Super 6 winner. And if Kessler doens't agree to terms, it'l be Bute v. Pavlik. So either way, Bute will have a tough fight in the fall prior to takin on the super 6 winnerComment
