Why do so many people hate on froch

The majority are giving tons of props to Carl Froch.

I also think you're exaggerating Wards hometown fighting and underappreciating what he has achieved since turning pro.
When Froch was 24-0, aged 29, he had one fight out of the UK and the only top fighter he had beaten was Jean Pascal.
Whilst at the age of 27, with 24 fights under his belt Andre Ward has fought twice out of the US, and within that short space of time has fought Miranda, Kessler, Bika and Abraham - all the while remaining undeafeted.
I think you need to give Andre Ward his due props TS!!!!!!!??

ps. Here's another, Ward started pro at middleweight. This is his 2nd weight class.

War Froch!

I was always bagging on Froch when he was first being shown on U.S. TV. I thought he was a big mouth who didn't have all that much talent, I was wrong.
The guy has fought everybody that they have put in front of him and beat them all except for Kessler, which was a great fight. He is tough as hell, has an awkward style, and has no problem traveling to make big fights. I'm really looking forward to his fight with Ward. Much respect for the cobra.

In truth, it's because of a couple of things.

People in America are hesitant to give him credit because he is foreign. British fans are hesitant because of his rivalry with Joe Calzaghe. Calzaghe is/was beloved and Froch was calling him out. He's not ****y, but he's not the most humble man on the planet, either. So, British fans have a hard time fully supporting the man.

However, the fact of the matter is that he's on a roll like no other fighter on the planet. Bar none. 5 straight fights with top 10 rated fighters. Pascal went on to win the true championship in a higher weight class. Taylor was a former Middleweight champion with only two losses to the same guy. Dirrell was undefeated. Kessler is a solid, quality fighter as is Arthur Abraham. Johnson was a champion at Light Heavyweight, having beaten Tarver in or close to his prime. No real gimme fights. And he's suffered only one CLOSE loss in this line up. (Other than his Kessler loss and the Dirrell fight notwithstanding, no fight was even questionable.)

That's something to appreciate. To me, only a hater can dislike the guy. I am picking Andre Ward to win. But, I want both to put on a good show and give a good account of themselves.

Carl Froch is the ****ing man. Takes on all comers and makes exciting fights. If you don't like Froch and you claim to be a boxing fan you're not, you're just a hater.
