I don't think the fight will be at the Azteca stadium

It will be on the Omnilife Stadium in Guadalajara (Canelo's hometown), Slim gave lots of money to build that new stadium.

Manny Pacquiao has been offered $65 million by the reputed world’s richest man, Carlos Slim, to fight in his hometown in Mexico.

Carlos Slim Helú is a Mexican business magnate and philanthropist, who has at various times been noted as the world’s wealthiest person. He is the chairman and chief executive of telecommunications companies Telmex and América Móvil, and has extensive holdings in other Mexican companies through his conglomerate, Grupo Carso SAB, as well as business interests elsewhere in the world.

Pacquiao, is a Filipino professional boxer and politician. He is an eight-division world champion, the first boxer in history to win ten world titles, the first to win in eight weight divisions,[4] and the first to win the lineal championship in four different weight classes

Currently, Pacquiao is the WBO Welterweight World Champion (Super Champion). He is also currently rated as the “number one” pound-for-pound best boxer in the world.

            but you never know.

$65m is NOTHING to that dude.

            he's worth $74 billion.

The World’s Richest Man, Mexican Carlos Slim Helu, apparently doesn’t want to limit his power to mining and telecommunications, he apparently now wants to get into the fight business.

Filipino fighting superstar Manny Pacquiao’s confidante, llocos Sur Gov. Gluis “Chavit” Singson has just confirmed that his fighter friend has been guaranteed $65 million by Slim to fight in Mexico.

            But who???

Slim’s motives are apparently not financial but altruistic and for the love of Mexico. He wants to give his countrymen what they have been yearning for: a Pacquiao fight on Mexican soil with one of Mexico’s up and coming fighters. Slim would pick the fighter.

Singson said Pacquiao is intrigued by the offer especially the ‘guarantee’ win or lose of the $65 million. It is reported that a likely candidate would be the WBC light middle weight champion Saul “Canelo” Alvarez.

Pacquiao has fought numerous Mexican and Mexican-American fighters, most notably Oscar De La Hoya, but never in Mexico.

How much would Alvarez get paid? This fight does over 1 million PPV's easily and if Pac gets his usual 20 million guarantee from Top Rank plus PPV than he has a chance of making over $100 million for one fight.

Pac should do it, Alvarez is very beatable and hes also an acceptable opponent, this would be huge he'd cash in.
