On Saturday night at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlanic City, WBC super middleweight champion Carl Froch (28-1, 20 KOs) won a tought twelve round majority decision over former light heavyweight champion Glen Johnson (51-15-2, 35 KOs) in the seminfinals of the Super Six World Boxing Classic. **** froch..first time i saw him fight and i was very disappointed i mean he barely landed any clean shots and johnson landed vicious right hands all night just vicious knock out punches.. and the sports casters say what a chin .. wtf if you getting hit with vicious shots all night and dont land **** on johnson .. but 1 or 2 shots .. how do you win for having a chin lmfao.. all flash blocked punches .. boxing is becoming rediculous.. i think they shout fight until someone wins no more decisions..

while in the end i think froch did pull it off by a couple rounds, i agree that for the most part froch didn't land any notable punches at all in the fight and johnson landed the most telling accurate blows all night long. it's just in the end johnson slowed down and froch was more active but 90% of his shots were landing on johnson's guard

Boxing needs a new point system, and like other sports, the score should be poseted on a wall for all to see. That way, any funny business will be apparent right from the start, so some official can drop the hammer

no **** man, that's what im saying.

how could you not enjoy the fight last night? froch wasn't disappointing at all. johnson has an excellent guard and pretty elusive head movement. I think froch looked faster than ever tonight. he looked like a pseudo manny pacquiao with those flurries. he is really starting to come into his prime. he can control distance perfectly, and no way anybody can beat him in a tear up.

also, it would be a NOOB mistake to analogize the kessler/ward fight as a predictor for froch/ward. kessler was hand made for ward. froch on the other hand isn't hand made for anyone. he is giong to give ward some problems.

I cannot wait till ward takes Froch to school From the looks of it ward is even bigger then froch. Froch will not know what to do but piss himself when Ward starts switching stances

froch had gone through a 12 week training camp


ward wasn't training for anything and probably put on some weight


they're very similarly sized in terms of their natural bone and muscle size
froch is a bit longer and a bit taller
ward's got a bit more muscle in the torso

but i'd say they're virtually identical in size

i think froch tries to box for the first half of the fight, starts to lose, and goes into nottingham warrior mode and tries to **** it out
