    Observations Chavez Jr vs Zbikk

First off I would like to congratulate JR for a hard-fought win.

Second, y'all are a bunch of hypocrites when judging JR. Weren't many of you guys saying that as long as a fighter makes weight for said weight class it was fair? For example Donaire vs Montiel and Tyson Marquez the flyweight champ? Weren't you defending Donaire then? But because it's Chavez JR ya'll talk abunch of smack out of jealousy because Mexico domintiaes boxing.

Second, JR did not have an amateur career like most of these pro boxers that compete for championship belts and he still beat the champ!!! In other words he's still learmimg on the job while facing real champs unlike many of those Cubans and other prospects that get exposed by Mexican journeyman. That gives you an idea about how deep the Mexican talen pool is.

Third, kellerman said another boxer with good power would've KOED Chavez, ****err how do you know if Chavez's chin just is that good?

Forth, he also said promoters use fighters that are popular with the community to cheat them into buying ppv etc... why didn't you say that with the real hypejob Berto when he was robbing fighters that rightfully won the fights like Collazo? American much?

Fifth, RJJ is so racist and biased is disgusting, he forgets that cheerleading fo his brothers wont't do nothing like when Keneddy Mckinney got beat down by Barrera.

Chavez won fair and square whether you like it or not and if you complain about this then Marquez and Castillo already beat Pac and FMJ respectively.

    Cong**** Champion Chavez JR!!!

well i can at least speak for myself in saying that, fair or not (in which case i think it IS fair) that Chavez won the fight in large part because of his size advantage

I thought it was a close fight, it can be argued that JR lost the first 6 rounds of the fight and it was going to be tough to overcome. But JR had his opponent on fumes and clearly won the 2nd half of the fight. I would have been ok with a draw or a close decision either way, which it was.

I do agree though that JR's defense is pathetic and if he wasn't facing a guy with 10 ko's he would have been in a lot more trouble and probably gotten stopped. I dont like hating on a fighter though because it still takes balls to get in the ring and fight anyone, and JR may not have a lot of skill but he showed great conditioning, heart, and a hell of a lot of WIM.

He just doesn't have what it takes to be a real legitimate boxer at the top of the food chain, but he serves his purpose well and gives good exciting fights.

i don't know enough either way to give you an honest opinion, but if it mattered what a fighter weighed on fight night than they should do the weigh in on the day of the fight
