HAHAHAHAAHAH. awesome.sergio martinez don't want no part of JR. "maravagina" already been beat. we already seen him KO'd.
JR's never been beat. there is no blueprint to beat JR. 43 have tried, 43 have failed.
if "maravagina" wants 2 b #44, all he has to do is take OSDTs, accept a 80/20 split, and we got a fight!Comment

Is this the "Twilight Zone"? Because I can't believe how many fans actually believe Chavez is a good fighter. This was a set up from the start and if not for Chavez Sr. we would have been watching this fight on a fuzzy stream from Europe and not on HBO. And yes Zbik has no power but to say his punches had no affect on Chavez is well just ridiculous. Don't believe me? Just look at Chavez's face and I bet he has whiplash from his head snapping back so many times. Bottom line Zbik hit Chavez with more punches that were affective but were just not strong enough to knock him out so he won.Comment

funny thing is, no matter where sergio is on the p4p rankings... he still doesnt pack a house like JCC jr... business-wise, JR is the cashcow.
so sergio has no negotiating power... i dont see sergio being an option. arum wont throw his newly crowned champion in with a p4p beast...Comment

JR's a joke...there 154#'s that'll beat him easy...forget even cotto or sergio....Jr'll make a couple easy defenses before he has to fight anyone ranked or considered a ****er....amazing that Zbik was the 'champ' and really not in the 1-10 rankings but JR's never fought a ranked fighter....Comment

JR is the El Dinero de Vaca. sergio has internet sergiosexual fans that's about it. nobody in real life knows who the hell he is or what the f a "maravilla" is. and no we're not going to Google it that's how little we give a f***.funny thing is, no matter where sergio is on the p4p rankings... he still doesnt pack a house like JCC jr... business-wise, JR is the cashcow.

If you don't like him, don't watch him.
He got the decision and there have been much worse.
Zbik wins this on German soil.
At least Junior would never complain about blisters.
The kid is a fighter with great flaws but exciting to view.Comment

And a whole bunch of people are just dismissing that fact. Zbik outlanded him convincingly in 9 out of the 12 rounds and it's written all over Chavez's face. Although Chavez was effective with his brutal body shots, he got still hit consistently. I don't understand how anyone can clearly have Chavez winning the fight. To be fair, I had it 114-114, seeing as Chavez landed effective punches but Zbik had the volume. I wouldn't mind seeing them fight again tbh, as it was more entertaining than I thought it would be.Is this the "Twilight Zone"? Man there is some serious Chavez Jr, hate here.
Listen is this young kid the second coming of his father? Of course not. And I don't think anyone is saying that.
Did he get a gift decision last night? Simply put no! It was a close fight, even Zbik and his corner knew it was a close fight as they told him he needed to win the 12th round, so no it wasn't a robbery.
Everyone who has watched boxing for longer than the Pacquiao and Mayweather era will know that boxing is scored on more than just quantity, but quality. The fact is Chavez just landed the more effective shots. Had Zbik hurt a few times, had him breathing heavy from his mouth. All of these play a big part in what the judges see.
Now again no one is saying that this kid is going to be the next great Mexican HOF, or that he will beat Martinez or even Cotto, but he did earn his victory last night. Give credit where credit is due.Comment
