    I bet vitali fights Lamon

Vitali has showed all signs of him wanting Lamon, if Wlad wants the winner of TOS/Byrd, then if lamon has balls him adn big V will have a great heavyweight fight. course after vitali whoops him theres really no one left he can fight that means anything

The only way I see them fighting is for a HUGE PPV match. Brother vs brother grudge match should sell tickets. Just think, all the boxing writers will be asking their mom. " who used to win when they fought growing up?"
Actually I think they will hold to their word and not fight each other.

personally i like vitali..........but to be honest, there is no number 1 heavyweight at the moment

vitali is recognized as number 1, only, because of his good performance in his loss to lewis.........i'm sure that is the only reason...........otherwise how could he be considered number 1 for winning a VACANT title over golf pro sanders and then by beating williams....

Vitali and Lamon are the only legit contenders for the title "World Heavyweight Champion" right now. If Vitali beats Rahman (which I believe is an easy pick) they should meet in the ring rather sooner than later.

I'd say Brewsters stock is higher than Vitali's at the moment. He knocked out Wlad and Golota, fighters than went the distance and in my opinion lost to him Byrd and Ruiz, so that eliminates them from the equations cause theoretically that means that Brewster beats them both. Yea he had a tough match with Meehan, same guy that Rahman destroyed, but it was obvious that friendship got in the way of that fight. Vitali got his title after Lewis retired and beat Kirk Johnson, Corrie Sanders, and Danny Williams to retain it. I think Brewsters recent opponents are of better standings than Vitali's have been. Therefore, Vitali must fight Brewster after he beats Rahman. This will truly tell if both are man enough to face the best in the heavyweight division, and the winner should be crowned the true heavyweight champ. Wlad should have a rematch with Byrd, thats if Byrd wins his next fight.

Wlad beat Shufford, and Shufford beat Brewster so I guess that eliminates Brewster out of the equation, what kind of logic are you using here?

Vitali's stock is higher than Brewsters will ever be. Vitali was beating Lewis, the heavyweight champ of the previous era. He beat his both mandatory challengers (Sanders and Johnson) with quite ease, and took out the man who many claimed would dethrone him based on his heart against Tyson.

                  Now on the other hand.....

Brewster was getting his ass handed to him by Wlad before Wlad gassed. Brewster also struggled against Meehan to a split decision which it many eyes he lost. Not only that but he was getting outboxed by Krasniqi before he scored 9th round TKO. That means he struggled with every fighter since fighting for the WBO. His only legitimate showing is against Golota who still is to have a top 15 win over any opponent since he's been boxing.

So who versed the better opposition?
                  Sanders was top 3
                  Johnson was top 5
                  Williams was top 10
                  Lewis was heavyweight champ
                  Vaughn Bean was top 10
                  Larry Donald was top 10

Now lets look at Brewsters opposition
                  Wlad was top 10
                  Meehan was top 50
                  Brewster was top 10
                  Krasniqi was top 15

hes #1 cuz he wins CONVINCINGLY and wins by KNOCKOUT. something chris byrd and john ruiz have problems with.
