Brewster deserves a big fight next

After his destruction of Golota and then beating a guy who many thought he couldn't beat due to the circumstances by TKO, Lamon Brewster has earned a big fight/payday for his next fight.

So who might this fight come against? Well, Wlad Klitschko has the first crack at Lamon if he wants it, but I do not see any way that Wlad doesnt choose to fight Byrd/TOS instead. But if not, and somehow Wlad does choose Brewster, that would be a big fight for both guys. Lamon probably wouldn't mind it either since hes already knocked Wlad out.

But lets just suppose that Wlad makes the right choice and chooses Byrd/Williamson instead of Brewster, who does that leave for Wlad? Sam Peter would be a big fight that would attract a lot of interest, but honestly, Peter hasn't earned it. (Not that that ever means anything in this sport, but lets pretend that it does).

There are three guys who could be big fights for Lamon. Vitali Klitschko, Hasim Rahman (and that is only if he is able to beat Vitali) and James Toney. The Klitschko/Rahman fight would be a unification fight and the winner would be reggarded by most as THE heavyweight champion of the world.

The Toney fight would also be a big draw becase, well, Toney is a draw. What is best about this is that all three of these guys are fighting very soon so they will all fight around the same time that Lamon did, so they can fight each other in their next fight.

The way I see it is that if Rahman can somehow defeat Klitschko then this is the most likely scenario because Rahman and Brewster are both Don King guys. If not, I see Toney being the next easiest option with Vitali being the toughest.

    Thoughts?

He seems to rise to level or sink to the level of his opponent and does deserve a big fight.....I think he would beat Wlad again and Rahman if he was to beat Vitali.

good post , l empire produces good posters .

he should go to wladimir . wlad has still mental lapses and means big bucks . vitaly would beat brewster and maybe stop him late , toney, why not but wladimir seems the best choice he means less risk more money .

i just cant see rahman beating vitaly so i let him out of the picture

I dont really think brewster would win the rematch. why? because look at the first fight. brewster took a beating those first 4 rounds. remember how determined and hungry he was. he literally cried at the pre fight press conference. he needed that hunger to get through those first 4 rounds when he was dropped and stunned numerous times and he had a referee that let him hang in there without stopping it. now would he be as determined this time after winning and defending twice? he'd need to be as he needed it last time. and on wlads part,,,,will he throw all those power shots and take a chance of winding himself early again? I doubt it. if he boxes and doesnt load up on hooks and right hands every round he could out box brewster and avoid the big hooks. brewster obviosly can hurt and stop wlad,,,but if Im a betting man,,I think wlad out boxes him and wins a decision or stops him this time. still a tough fight to call and would be a great fight to see. Im so hoping he takes this fight over byrd. this would really give him some respect back if he beats brewster
