WTF are you guys trippin on?? TARVER speaks better than Roy IMO. I love ROy, but sometimes i don't understand what the **** that crazyass is saying, talking about his chickens and ****. He says the first word clearly, then he goes off into some kind of mumbling rant about how nobody can **** with him. YOu guys call that good commentating? Tarver is the real deal. This guy is intelligent, SPEAKS CLEARLY, is witty, and funny. This guy ain't even ugly like you guys say. Trippin....oh and don't bring back that biased fat foreman either. peace.

oh, and leave Merchant out of this...this guy is a near legend when it comes to boxing commentating. Lampley is THE signature voice for HBO, so i hope that guy stays for a longass time.

Uhh, Roy doesn't go on rants on air about how "no one can tough him". Yall got it so ingrained in yall's heads that he is the most arrogant mofo out there that you are just making stuff up now. He talks about the fights in front of him. Usually it's Lampley saying "look at how so and so does this like Roy used to do."

I agree. I've watched some fights where some guy was commenting how good he is and says that the boxer in front of him would get KO'd and the other boxer would suffer the same fate. I said to myself, "who the hell is this braggart!". Then I hear the name Roy and then .."uh oh, ok, it's Roy so it's ok.. lol!".

Sometimes Roy is just too full of himself. He should be displaying the maturity of a great champion. Not dribble in trash talk like some uneducated brat. I wish Roy could have had more finesse.

roy's annoying to me, so i wouldnt mind seeing him go away... he gets biased towards fighters... he used stick up for david reid in comparisons to vargas, when it was pretty obvious reid was a very flawed fighter..
