So what you're saying is that I should only like a fighter when he's at the top of his game?

Mikey was a force back in the day. A p4p boxer with incredible skills and killer power. I woul pick him to beat gamboa at 130 and im 50/50 on wether he would beat loma. And i rank loma high. That said he lost years of his prime and my fav fight right now would be him against crawford. If mikey comes back with the attitude of fighting bums for big bucks count me out as a fan.

No, I'm saying you should only like a fighter who actually fights which is...you know, his job.

Comeback fights are a no-win many times. He really needs to get some ring-time, but if he does that people will say he looks hesitant, washed-up, etc. If he goes in like a storm he doesn't get a chance to get that critical re-acclimation which he needs before taking on a high-level fight (which he'll be expected to do).

I hope Mikey takes his time and uses this fight to get his feet wet again. Haters be damned.
