John Ruiz should get some respect!

I know his fights are boring and all but he deserves credit for being a title holder and if you don't like the way he fights don't watch him. The man was destroyed by David Tua in 19 seconds and eventually went on to hold a belt twice, while Tua floundered. The man does not care what the so called boxing experts say and he just keeps plugin along. The man has done more with his limited ability than any other fighter in history.

Hes not an all time great or the best fighter in the division, but he constantly calls for unification and will fight anyone.

The guy is a fighter and all fighters should be respected.

this a joke of a thread... ruiz wouldn't be champ if it wasnt don king... he's lost to 2 former middleweights and has lost to all the best fighters he's faced... he has yet to beat any of the other top guys, klits, toney, byrd.. and on top of that is horrible to watch...
