Update on Maidana-Guerrero, it won't take place on Aug 6th but September since Maidana wants more time to prepare, I'm told #boxing 1 minute ago via UberSocial

It will be a good fight if it goes through. I wish it was happening in August though. Sept seems way to far away. Maidana only had one fight the whole year, and it was against Morales. He should've been able to fight in August.

Oh, well, good pick by Maidana. And I don;t think it's going to be easy for Guerrero at all. He has never faced anyone as big and strong as Maidana.

And lets not forget how badly hurt Guerrero was when Kats went to the body. I don't know how durable Guerrero is, and Maidana is a beat that will hurt him.

The Ghost held titles @ 126 and 130, but Maidana isn't hype? His claim to fame is beating a weight drained Ortiz. Guerrero has solid wins over Aiken, Litzau, Casamayor, and Katsidis. He also went the distance with juice head Salida in 07. Guerrero is a star in the making.

I think Guerrero can outbox him. But I don't know, Kotelnik is a good boxer but he couldn't really outbox Maidana, and Maidana is a good boxer and he won for the most part but Maidana did catch him a bunch of times.
