if you actually think Pac-Mosley did more than Mayweather-Mosley you're ******ed...bob would've released that stuff instantly if it were the case.
People need to realize that Bob Arum is not in charge of releasing PPV numbers. If they are being withheld (and I'm pretty sure that would be illegal) it's being done by the cable and satellite systems. Here is the last report on the issue:

I spoke to Bob Arum regarding Pacquiao-Mosley PPV numbers. He said it's definitely above 1.3 million. However, they aren't able to project a final number, as HBO is, because HBO has done PPV cards for so long. Arum said all satellite and cable systems that are in are coming in at 15 to 30 percent higher than they did for Pacquiao-Margarito. That fight did 1.15 million. However, because they have to count the numbers on Pacquiao-Mosley by themselves and haven't done it previously, a true, final number won't be available for, as he put it, months. #boxing #pacmosley #PPV
So 1.3 is the projected minimum, which is the same system HBO uses (their final numbers are not known until months after the event, usually go up by 10-15% example- DLH/Mayweather came in at 2.1 mil at first, now the accepted final # is 2.4 mil).

If you can find me a cable provider in the US that carries HBO and not Showtime or vice-versa I will believe everything you say, until then you're a fraud and a liar =P.

What could possibly be the reason for the hold-up?
What if it bombed lol
I didn't buy it- I went to a bar cuz I saw Mosley's last 2 fights.
The reason for the hold-up as i understand it (from what iv'e read) is that cbs isn't as fast at compiling a solid number as HBO. Apparently the peeps at HBO can give a pretty definitive number after only a few days.....not so at CBS. Additionally it is likely to be less than what Arum initially stated. My guess is 1 million to 1.2 million buys.
