Hard-hitting Latvian cruiserweight sensation Mairis Briedis (6-0, 4 KOs) picked up his ride exactly where he had left it almost a year ago. Briedis was last seen in the ring on June 12, 2010, in Poland, when he annihilated Hungarian Gabor Zsalek in just a round. Briedis repeated this trick again, destroying durable Croatian veteran Josip Jalusic (10-24-1, 7 KOs) also in the single stanza. Jalusic was floored three times in less than three minutes. The fight was arranged in Latvian capital Riga by Sergey Mitchnik as a part of the mixed boxing affair.
