Hes Ukrainian for ****s sake, and he doesnt like being called "black russian" he stated in interviews that its just a display of american ignorance when he's called that.

TheBlack Russian sounds better than The Black Ukrainian. Sorry but nicknames aren't about PC.

I was really impressed with how easily he handled Yordanis Despaigne, who I believe is a tough fight for most anyone.

How would you guys like to see The Black Russian vs Beibut Shumenov? I think that's an awesome fight and a way for TBR to get a title. You know the top four guys are all fighting eachother right now (Dawson-Hopkins, Pascal-Cloud likely) so he might as well go after the other title holder. In fact I'll make a thread now.

How is not possible to be a black russian? if a black person is born in russia, doesn't that equal black russian?

And yes, we're well aware he's Ukrainian.
