Dimitrenko, Meehan, Chagaev win!

Heavyweight contender Alexander Dimitrenko pounded out a ten round unanimous decision over former two-time world title challenger Vaughn Bean. Scores were 95:93, 95:93, 96:92. Bean was deducted a point for a low blow in round three and got another warning for a low blow foul in round four.

Former heavyweight title challenger Kali Meehan stopped Tommy Connelly at 1:42 of round three. Meehan knocked Connelly down once each in rounds two and three.

Heavyweight contender Ruslan Chagaev needed just 50 seconds to destroy Jocimar Hipolito. After Chagaev scored the second knockdown in round one, Hipolito's coach Markus Aslani threw in the towel.

Heavyweight Denis Boytsov knocked down Janos Somogyi twice in round one and the referee stopped the contest just as the bell sounded to end the opening round (3:00).
