yes they are some one should of showed it.

i mean lets see what on the sports channels right now.

espnnews - ITS A ****ING NEWS CHANNEL SHOWING HL'S SO THEY COULDNT SHOW A LIVE FIGHT.

espn - just regular shows, NFL live so nothing takes over football.

espn2 - soccer God forbid thats not shown

espn classic - who cares its a rerun so show something live instead

    fox - ****ty sports programming

HBO/Showtime - well since its all either movies or shows than definitely not cause they couldnt show them or anything

You do know that the promoter has to approach them to make a deal to broadcast the fight. Or did you think they just ran after the promoter? Regardless, it's a "UNIVERSUM" show, promoted by them and certian networks have exclusive rights to their programs. No promoter, including King, was going to put up the funds to put this card on U.S. TV.

no kidding... the amount of funds to be put down would have to be farily minor... in the end, Universum would be better off getting M>0 than M=0 for the broadcast of the fight in the US ...

It is Pareto improving to have the broadcast done here

In other words, if any of the companies were willing to put down any amount M>0, Universum would have taken it since it is optimal for them to do so.

I dont know why it would kill them (tv networks) to televise fights from Europe. Alot of fights go on their that alot of us would like to see especially as as an addition to what we usually get with HBO Fox showtime espn. Its obviously all political that these networks wont televise bouts from Europe, When you consider that they refuse even in cases when world titles are on the line.

Besides hardcore boxing fights, who else would tune in for a fight at 4:30pm on a Wednesday

HBO did re-broadcast Wlad's fight with Sanders.

Why did not they do the same for Lamon? They treat Lamon unfairly.
