Vladimir Hryunov, the manager of top rated cruiserweight Denis Lebedev (22-1, 16 KOs), has begun discussions with Andrzej Wasilewski, promoter of WBC champion Krzysztof "Diablo" Wlodarczyk (45-2-1, 32 KOs). Hryunov told reporters that Wasilewski initially turned the fight down but later he began to express interest by asking how much his champion could make for the fight. Both of the boxers are being named as participants in Sauerland Event's upcoming cruiserweight version of the Super Six tournament.

I've been hearing this rumor for years. Is this tourney likely to happen or not?

Hopefully Wlodarczyk gets his ass beaten for that robbery they've pulled last fight.

It wasn't a robbery.

But neither fighter deserved to win, they both fought like they were afraid of each other. It was a horrible fight.

So I'll be rooting for Lebedev, he always brings the crowd-pleasing aggression.
