Maidana is overrated ,JMM would beat him ...and i'm sure Morales would beat him in the rematch

I doubt he would make that up but i also doubt that Maidanas team would put restricitions on what punches he could throw.sparring maidana with 16 ozs and headgear is one thing fighting him with 8s and no headgear is another

its sparring. it probably happened. maidanas not even that good in actual fights. i can see how a fighter with vargas' talents could frustrate him.

yes he is, which is why it was so dissapointing to see Ortiz lose to him. He couldn't even beat TWO washed up fighters in Corely and Morales convincingly.......

nothing really...its sparring. so i dont get the bragging. i think ppl who dont box are too impressed with what occurs in sparring. when fighters spar, they are usually trying to work on things they arent good at or that are new to them, so these things happen. even to the best like floyd, pac, dlh etc.

Fans always overrate fighters with POWER because fans (ESPECIALLY CASUAL FANS) think those guys can just go out and Knock ANYBODY OUT...sure they can...BUT THEY ACTUALLY HAVE TO LAND WITH THAT POWER...if they can't then they usually end up losing by UD

I like Maidana, he is tough and relentless...but he can be out-boxed...once again I consider him the Arthur Abraham of the 140 Division, if you can avoid his Power...YOU CAN OUT-BOX HIM EASY! I think even Jesse Vargas can get it to the cards and get a win over Maidana, he is just too Robotic and Slow especially at 140 in a division that has a lot of young fighters with SPEED
