It's a great idea but fighters pulling out ruined it, boxers like Kessler could've have caused upsets & i thought Dirrell would've have won the whole thing.

They should have kept the fights in a neutral location so we could hear less *****ing during negotations.

It was a good concept but it took to long to complete should've tried to maintain a better time frame to many long layoffs.

If you're going to put JT in bcse you need a name why put him in with a big puncher the 1st round when everybody knew if he got KO'd he'd leave.

Also before the tourney Ward said he didn't want to fight Dirrell unless it was big money or a big time fight bcse of their friendship so when he had chance to pull out guess what

Ward having all his fights at home when everybody else traveled out of there countries.

And to have Allen Green as a back-up??

Injuries and delays are just going to happen but those were a few oddities

They should of just had the winner of Froch-AA fight Ward in the finals i thought and bypass the last round
did anybody really need to see Ward-AA and Johnson only had 1 fight in the whole tourney

But all in all it was exciting initially and a good way to match the best of a division but would be surprised if they did it again and with this experience maybe they'll be able to improve.
Be surprised if they didn't go with single elimanation instead but hopefully Showtime or HBO will continue with tournament structures in the future it does add energy to the fights.

At the end of the tourney, we would have watched a total of 10 fights, spread out across 2 years. If you want more than that, then nothing can satisfy you in boxing.

Match ups I would have liked to see that we didn't get were:

        Dirrell vs Kessler
        Taylor vs Ward
        Abraham vs Kessler
        Taylor vs Dirrell
        Ward vs Dirrell

Out of 15 possible match ups, we got 10, how can you ask for more? So all 15 didn't happen, but 10 did, how about if none of this happened, 0, no Super 6 whatsoever?

Plus, barring the Taylor matchups, all of these fight cans still happen.

Personally I've enjoyed it, flawed concept but has ultimately delivered with some good fights.

          Opinions please
I agree with ya thoughts on it..

Dirrell pulling out of the fight with Ward was a b*tch move and Ward not wanting to go fight anywhere outside of California showed that even in a tournament, guys will still pick and choose woh and where they fight. If they don't get their way, they won't fight. That's what's wrong with Boxing and this tournament proved that not even if you are obligated to fight someone, somewhere, its not promised that it will happen.
