You refer to football but as well as attracting a lot of good sports fans it attracts a rogue element of hooligans etc who take it upon themselves to act up. If you go to watch a cricket, rugby or tennis match, it's unlikely you'll see or hear any racism. It's unfair to characterise all of British sport in that manner.

Racist chanting is very rare at football grounds. Like I said, you can pick out a small handful of clubs who have their idiots but the vast majority of clubs do not have any problems with racist chanting.

But football has more fans than all those other sports put together. And we are not talking about hooligans, i've seen middle class office worker spout this nonsense.

I've been to a game and at half time the boys side has come out and a bloke infront though he would give a 12 year old some racist abuse.



I agree it is a minority, but some of there detractions are believed by the mainstream and they believe things that clearly are not true about Khan.
