    Irony of Vitali and Wlad...

... you know, until I just read it now, I'd forgotten the fact about Vitali: he's the ONLY heavyweight champion in HISTORY to have never been knocked down.

Considering nearly every single time he fights his brother's flopping around on the deck like an old cod out of water it's somewhat ironic, right?

And all the pundits and critics had long ago said that Wlad was the better of the two brothers. Perhaps in technique....but funny how things turned out.

...Even though Wlad appears to be the better athlete and is more fluid in his punching, Vitali seems to have better balance. IMO Wlad's balance has had alot to do with most of his KD's. Perhaps Vitali has better balance due to his kick boxing background.

The Klitschkos should have had one kid that combined Wlad's talents with Vitali's steadiness. Then we would have had one helluva heavyweight champ.

Tell the truth, I don't get this "Wlad is the more talented one" at all. All he did on Saturday night was jab and grab. Oh, and a bit of legwork (though his legs are too skinny to support his frame). Vitali's the funky robot, you can't touch him for ****.

Wlad looks more like a pure boxer. His punches come off a lot crisper. Vitali just seems awkward, though maybe that's a bit of an illusion. Wlad kills Vitali in footwork as well.

I don't know, Vitali's style has been more or less working for him, I guess.

The brothers could not be more opposite!

              Wlad fights going forward
              Vit fights going backward
Wlad has a beautiful offensive game
Vit has an unorthodox offensive game
Wlad has no chin and loves the canvas
Vit has a great chin and has no clue what canvas is
              Wlad lets his hands go
Vit is much more resourceful with his punches

Whatever skill one of them has the other usually has the opposite?

I'm sure a TKO loss to Lennox Lewis and a TKO loss to Chris Byrd count as Knockouts?

                - From where you got that info from???

He has never been physically knocked down to the canvas.
