Chambers to bad his size and lack of power put a ceiling on how far he can go, cause he is supremely skilled.

most likely some mess up by the WBC. For example they'll put the vacant "latino" title on the line with one of their up and coming latino fighters, who they assume will win, then get upset by a non-latino, thus messing things up.

in this case however it makes NO sense since Boswell vs Owen Beck was for the vacant WBC Latino title maybe they ran out of latino's at heavyweight and just said fuck it!

Eddie Chambers has to fight Tony Thompson next in an eliminator. That may be a good (or bad) sign as to who may be one of the top American HW's.

One to keep an eye on though is Amir Mansour. Some friends on another site where discussing him the other day. Powerful lefty. Has some sick Ko's on you tube. If he stays outa trouble and his chin holds up he may make some noise soon.

                  Austin, 40 years old
                  Boswell, 41
                  Oquendo, 38
                  Grant, 38

I say the best American heavy is the winner of Tony Thompson(39) vs Eddie Chambers.

and I know its sad, but Arreola must be 3rd best then...dayum
