The fight was scheduled as the co-feature to the middleweight bout between WBC champion Sebastian Zbik and mandatory challenger Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., which takes place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Sources close to the situation are stating that Rafael Guzman (28-2, 20KOs) of Mexico has stepped in to replace Beltran.
