Jro, remember the " deadline ", the one that expired on July 16th 2010 ?

The " deadline " that was recorded on a countdown timer on the Top Rank website?

The " deadline " that Bob Arum personally negotiated with GBP ?

Come on man, are you really telling me that you cant see what happened there?

Jro, it is plainly obvious what happened, are you a boxing fan, or just a Manny fan?

HERE IS BOB ARUM LYING TO YOU.....Nobody denies that Arum publicly stated on numerous occasions that he personally negotiated a deal with GBP, who forwarded it to Mayweather for approval. Then he placed a two week " deadline " on the table, even going to the trouble of putting a count-down timer on the Top Rank website.....

HERE IS BOB ARUM WHEN FORCED TO ADMIT IT.....
Then, after Bob Arum's conference call, Schaefer immediately released a statement which forced Arum to admit that both him and Ross Greenburg had NEVER spoken with anyone from GBP.....

We all got played man, well, most of us

Surprised? You shouldnt be, Arum has been doing this for years.

The second negotiation, the one that happened over the phone without any meetings/talks/discussions/mediation, or with any of the parties involved even being present, and under categoric denial by 4 people who would be ABSOLUTELY CRITICAL to that fight taking place.

The assumption that I came to is that Manny will not fight Mayweather without "help".

Personally I think that Arum will attempt to bury Mayweathers OST request during the negotiation by using the " lawsuit " as leverage..... I will drop the "lawsuit", if you will forget about the silly random blood tests, and issue a public apology like GBP did.

Just a guess, who knows what they are up to?

The term "negotiation" gets thrown around loosely and I think Arum has a lot to do with that. Sticking to the facts (as we know it) about this second negotiation, Arum reached out to Greenburg who reached out to someone from Mayweather's camp. They never responded. No one else was reached out to. Maybe Floyd wasn't interested in fighting. Maybe Team Pacquiao's never-ending request for a cut-off date killed any talks before it could start. Whatever the case, that was the end of the "negotiation." The end result is that Mayweather is making boring home videos and Pacquiao is fleecing the public.

I cant go to any thread, without hearing Floyds name. I thought this thread was about a possible Ortiz fight. I'm a Floyd's fan, but damn... Shaq just retired, is he a coward too?

    how would you interpret that?
That they wouldn't do business with Golden boy...
