yes, not to say he couldnt take more. he didnt want to. that was more a symptom of ortiz's weak/inexperienced heart than anything else. **** maidana went life and death with a shot morales and AND a shot corley.

Maidana beat Ortiz until Ortiz didn't want to fight... EVER AGAIN! That's a more brutal stoppage than Martinez putting Williams to sleep in my view.

For the record, I called that fight right perfectly down to Ortiz quitting. Ortiz was running over people and had no idea how to do anything else. I said his only chance to win was to hit Maidana so hard early that he stayed down. I wish that board was still around so I could get the post. And ya know what? I bet Maidana would do it again even worse because Ortiz would be afraid to quit and instead take a horrific beating because Maidana doesn't have a merciful "sleep KO" punch.

There is nothing Ortiz could do to Maidana short of that same hope of an early KO punch that I think is even less likely know that Maidana knows Ortiz. Maidana-Ortiz II would be Ortiz looking like a lost puppy when he becomes dumbfounded to realize that pitty pattering at Maidana doesn't suddenly decrease Maidana's pressure (would actually increase it as Maidana is given infinite forward momentum and zero worry about any real power).

Topic is Maidana VS Bradley and all the "easy work" posts for Bradley is exactly why Bradley would make this fight. Maidana looks like easy work much in the same way I'm sure Rocky Marciano did. The fight will completely change when Maidana is walking through Bradley's punches and hitting him at awkward angles with bricks in return.
