Has Chavez Jr. showed he has a strong chin in his fights?

I have not seen many of Chavez Jr. fights but has he shown a strong chin?

He has shown a good chin against medocre opposition. Don't know how it will be when he steps up.

He does have the ability to get his chin dented. In his bout with John Duddy, he got his knees stiffened up once or twice. However, he handled it well and would usually finish up strong. While this was against mediocre opposition, it still tells you something about his chin.

He has a poor defense. So, he's going to take a few shots. Yet, I don't recall him being down and he's handled all the shots well.

So, if I had to make a prediction, I'd say he has a quality beard. Not unbreakable, but certainly not a glass chin.

He definitely took some vicious punches from Duddy in that fight and he definitely enjoys a good brawl.

Good chin or not though, if he fights a proper puncher he'll get in trouble with that defense and brawling attitude. He was supposed to box and fight tall against Duddy, that went out the window after a few rounds.
