Victor Ortiz vs Amir Khan @ 147lbs? Who you got?

This would be VERY interesting.....both young, fast, power, boxing ability....plus it would be at a weight that neither would be draining themselves to get at.....

I take Khan by SD....only because Roach is in his corner....any other trainer, I'd pick Oritz.

This fight will happen, Khan will move up after Judah, with or without Tim Sadley.

At 147 I can't split em, I'd like to say Khan KO but fuck me, his chin has improved, however he seems to have lost a bit of power at 140, so who knows how much he'd lose at 147.....

We dont know how effective Khan will be at 147lb. Khan would have beaten Ortiz at 140lb, but at 147lb it remains to be seen

Khan by decision. Khan will frustrate Ortiz with his jab.

This is gonna be a very big fight when it happens.

IMO this is Khan's toughest fight out there. I see it going 2 ways a Khan decision or Ortiz rocking Khan when behind on points and managing to pull out a KO. Khan's chin is a lot better but Ortiz hits very hard. I think a Khan points win is most likely but Ortiz is capable of causing real problems.

I'd need to see what Khan looks like at 147 before I make this prediction. Khan should fight Berto if he goes up.

I could never have predicted how SIKK Ortiz looked at 147 against Berto. He put most of the weight on building up his back muscles, his lats and that. He didn't look the polished champ but he had plenty of hunger.

I'm not picking this would be a great fight but they are hard to split. I might predict this AFTER the Judah fight but not before.

Khan is too skilled for Ortiz, that jab would make him think about quitting again. I think Amir will do just fine at 147, the extra weight would also help his punch resistance.

IDK, it would be a great match up. Personally, I think Ortiz would pull off the upset. I think one thing to take away in this match up is that Khan isn't the only technical fighter in this fight. Ortiz is no Maidana. Ortiz can box and Khan can be hit, that being said, I'd like to see how Khan can take a Ortiz punch.
