Well I hope not. He has moved on since then, he would be an idiot for that decision to eat him up right now.

He said it himself and we all know. Fact still is he ducked Khan to make that business move. He called for the Khan fight, accuse him of ducking him then proceed to duck his biggest payday at that time. I don't care if he signed a £20M contract with HBO/Arum, fact was he called for a fight and duck that fight. He admit it himself and that good enough for me.
      call it whatever you want.
      Contract ended June 30
      Fight July 23rd.
      Blame his dumbass promoter

He's right though... any reasonable person in his position would have made the same choice he did. It's called risk assessment.

If you're leaving a job and have your sights on a better one, would you take an incredibly risky assignment that could make or break your career before lining up your next place of employment?

Why would Bradley take the riskiest fight of his career at a time when he had no promotional backing? He would put himself entirely in the hands of a rival promoter, he would have been Khan's "opponent." That's a horrendously ****** position to put yourself in, especially in a sport where the A-side guy gets almost every single advantage you can think of in a fight.

Bradley made the right call, it's amazing that people are still holding this against him. This is a two and a half year old thread. Who even cares anymore?

I guess so, and if it's to chase Mayweather, who can blame him.
              You don't turn down Mayweather

Of course but that's irrelevant for this thread.

The thread is about ducking. IMO Khan didn't duck Alexander and Bradley didn't duck Khan because they were in pursuit of bigger, more lucrative fights. I guess we just have different definitions.

Of course he made the right call for himself, of course I would have done the same exact thing. You know what I wouldn't do "doe"? Make excuses like some are making in this thread. Fact is he ducked Khan, no excuses can be pulled out from heaven to twist that. The man himself admit he ducked Khan and I respect him for telling the truth. Khan would be doing the same exact thing NOW, he called out Alexander (Even though people said he doesn't deserve the fight), now he is getting cold feet because he wants to take the Bradley route... One thing I wouldn't do is make excuse for what Khan did even "doe" am glad he ducked Alexander.

Sorry they are both ducks in my book. No excuses... "If I lose" hmmm.
