Erik Morales got a draw with Maidana. Just like John Lederman said. He only got a MAJORITY win almost a draw. Yet he won't give Morales a rematch without taking so much money. I think he fears Morales and the way he fights will let Morales win!

First of all, John Lederman didn't score the fight officially. Second of all, that doesn't make him a coward when there are bigger fights out there for him.
He faced a veteran that showed his limitations. Big deal. It happens. He can't afford to suffer too many losses or close fights. It damages his reputation and earning ability, not to mention his physical abilities.
Nothing cowardice about it. He's just looking for the best opportunities.Comment

I wouldn't say a coward just very very overrated and limited fighter who got exposed. he wanted an easy win against a name opponent and it back fired big time.
seriously Maidana had lots of chances to fight the top guys of 140 after the Ortiz win but he didn't want to risk his #1 contender spot. now he has a little hype after the khan fight and wants to cash in before he gets exposed againComment

Maidana is no coward. He won a tough and close decision, so of course he wants more money. That's the way it works. If Morales wants a rematch, he'll have to give a bit.

If maidana was a coward, he wouldn't have gotten up thrice to make Ortiz quit. If maidana was a coward, he would have stayed down from that one-two to the left side then the liver...but he got up and gave the champion amir khan all he could handle...Comment
