Comments Thread For: Adamek on Beating Vitali Klitschko: Speed is My Power!

Heavyweight mandatory challenger Tomasz Adamek (44-1, 28 KOs) is confident his speed and sharp skills as a boxer will be enough to defeat the heavy favorite, WBC champion Vitali Klitschko (42-2, 39 KOs). Adamek will face the older Klitschko for the WBC heavyweight title on September 10 at the new soccer stadium in Wroclaw, Poland. He doesn't see himself as being the stronger man or the bigger puncher, but he knows that his speed and rapid movement will be provide Klitschko with fits.

the problem is you stand sometimes in front or when your against the ropes you get caught and get hurt but i doubt you can move all day against a hard puncher like vitali it will be a great fight but adamek will get ktfo

Honestly, I hope for a great fight but I know deep down Vitali will have no problem with Tomasz whatsoever and could pretty much put an end to him any time he wishes.

everyone says they are going to beat vitali by superior speed, but then everyone gets ko'd in the end. those ex.cruiseweights have no chance at all.it's sad how weak the hw division has become in the last years.

Every fighter that's going to get in the ring with Vitali is going to say that he's going to beat Vitali by using his speed. Well of course, what else could they say? That they're going to use their superior power to beat Vitali?

Speed does no good if you can't penetrate the taller guy's reach. I don't think Adamek can get inside and stay there consistently enough for his speed to matter. And he's been hurt by lesser punchers than Vitali. I like Adamek but I think he gets a beating in this match.

Problem for Adamek is, the fight probably doesn't last 12. Vitali by late stoppage, as usual.

Adamek is skilled, but he is not a good enough heavyweight to beat Vitali, I don't believe. He's good enough to have his moments, but that's it.

I think given Vitali's style of keeping his hands down and countering will give opportunities to Adamak to land shots. Sosnowski did it in spots. And I think Vitali has slowed down as well.

                    I LIKE ADAMEK but....!!!

ADAMEK has HUGE BALLS to take this fight,VITALI has 39 KOs but those are 40 because also if BRIGGS went out the ring after 12 rounds his face was all broken and the fight should have been stopped at least after 10 rounds;ADAMEK has a good chin but he risks a KO COLD if VITALI land a big right hand!!!!
I DON'T SEE HOW ADAMEK CAN WIN THIS FIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
