If the fight is fought on the outside, Alexander wins, if it's on the inside, Matthysse wins.

I see Mathysse eventually getting to the inside and dominating the fight from there. Forcing Alexander to hold on, whenever he gets there (the same way he did vs. Bradley and Judah did vs. Mathysse) and Mathysse should be strong enough to free himself and put work in from there.

Judah had his counter left uppercut and cross to prevent Mathysse from getting to the inside in the first half (until Mathysse said "**** it, I'm going in" in the late rounds, when the judges thought it was too late). Alexander doesn't have a threat to hold Lucas off of him. I haven't seen much of his ability to counter punch and Kotelnik basically scoffed at his power when asked.

This means that Alexander will have to rely on his output and footwork and hope that that will hold off Mathysse long enough so he's winning on the scorecards because once Mathysse consistently finds a way inside, the kid is not going to have any answer (because his inside game is lower than Berto's level... just no inside defense, except to hold).
