Márquez is guaranteed to provide more resistance to Pacquiao than his last opponents. Well, to be fair Margarito showed determination up around until midway through round 11.

I also believe Márquez will fair better than Pacquiao's last opponents.

Márquez has never been stopped, I don't even buy into the "Márquez is going to get KTFO!" theory.

This is Márquez we're talking about here. There's a chance he gets rocked early (like he was in the first Pacquiao fight, like he was in the second Pacquiao fight, like he was in the first Díaz fight, like he was in the Mayweather fight, like he was in the Katsidis fight), but because of his style and Pacquiao's offensive nature, we're going to get a memorable night regardless of who wins...

I honestly think Márquez is going to be more competitive than all of Pacquiao's last opponents (since JMM early 2008)...even if he loses by KO. I can't see Pacquiao blowing JMM out of the water. Nope, not gonna' happen...and I wouldn't be making such a long post if I didn't completely and utterly believed it.

You know, most of the time I disagree with your posts, but I agree with you in the bolded.

Antonio, while still outclassed, continued fighting. I still think the fight should've been stopped, but Margarito behaved like a fighter (or did the best within his toolset to fight).

JMM is gonna try and counter manny if he's in survival mode. He'll probably be the same as the first two fights. A lot of people believe manny will just come in same as always, but i think manny's improved lateral movement and controlled bursts and improved defense will be something new for marquez to figure out. All in all, should be a fun fight to watch.
