I dont agree with your assessment of Maidana. Most people assumed Khan would never fight him in the first place, and when the fight did get signed most people thought Maidana was gonna knock Khan into next Thursday.

That does not make a difference,Judah is accomplish and more of a name then Maidana..IMO he is a more solid fighter/fight for Khan at this point in Khan's Career..Like I said Maidana I love the guy but he has never been a Champion..

While its true he has never been champion he was unlucky not to get the victory against Kotelnik.

The 55-45 talk is why I think the fight is gonna get signed tommorow. There wouldn't be any chat about that and other names would be mentioned much more openly if this wasn't happenning.

There has been no talk of another fighter being approached by Team Khan this weekend and they say they will announce tommorow so, heres hoping.

I could be getting you mixed up with someone else so correct me if i'm wrong, but I'm sure you used to be a fan of Maidana before the Khan fight even saying that Khan could get Ko'ed. But now you just dismiss Maidana in every post.

I love Maidana dude does not know how to be in a boring fight,but I will always talk facts..

Fact:Maidana has never been a Champion,Judah is a five time Champ..
Fact:Maidana is slow and does not have much skill he hit's like a mule but he is not fast,he is slow of hand and foot..

Judah is more known then Maidana and more accomplished,I still do like Maidana and would pick him if he fought Judah..But Judah would do much more for Khan at this point..

I also had him winning that fight against Kottie,but I'm going off of name recognition and accomplishments..Maidana is a dangerous fight for anyone at the weight,but fact remains he is not the most known or accomplish fighter right now..Khan needs to fight an accomplish fighter with a name in the states to build himself up in the states..Judah is the perfect fight for him...

Judah is the most irrelevant beltholder right now, and was insignifant before gaining his strap. He fought Matthysse on HBO and won, but HBO preffered to pay Matthysse for another HBO appearance. I grant, Judah has been doing the right thing to make himself relevant again. But, he's not in a position to make demands. Seems like he's trying to duck Khan by asking for more than his current worth is. Should he fight and beat Khan, he'd be the man at 140 and the sky would be the limit. Wake up Zab...stop ducking.

Funny thing is you and Khan seem to overestimate Khan's worth in the States..Judah brings everything to the table with his status he has a belt is well known in the states..Dude this with in it self is good enough to demand 55/45 split with Khan..

I think it's reached a stage now where it's best for us to just wait for an announcement to be made. Speculation and opinions will remain until the fight is signed and let's hope that it is. A 55/45 split is good IMO but we do not know how the negotiations are going either right now. They're probably agreeing to it right as we chat on the forums.

One thing I will say though, is that past accomplishments don't mean anything if you are irrelevant now. What Judah did/achieved 4-5+ years ago doesn't matter as much as what he's done recently. He's not as relevant now.

Either way, that's just my opinion on that and nothing more.

55/45, let's get the fight sorted!
