Corley not too long ago took the great Marcos Maidana to hell and back for those who didnt watch.

To be fair ny that was i feel more down to Maidana's attidude to fighting Corley then Corley actually still being good enough to take Maidana deep.I think for any untested prospect Corley is still abit dangerous but hes just name on your resume now

There's no doubt that Corley put up a good fight, maidana put in his worst performance of his career. He was waiting for the Khan fight and didn't seem interested in the Corley fight which almost cost him the win.

I really didn't enjoy watching Matthyss knock him down about 6 times, i just hope he dosen't get seriously hurt so he can enjoy his life after retirement, the man is a warrior fighting these guys with 80 % plus KO ratios.

It's not that easy to quit your only way of getting enough $ to take of 10+ kids[you're own kids plus your dead brothers kids that you took custody of].


That's the only reason I don't call for Corley to retire. He's fighting for his kids not himself.

Thats where I was going first. Thats a lot of heads to feed. Its not like he's Mosley just yet. He will throw a punch atleast.

The Maidana-Corley was not that close.. Corley had his moments, but that was it. Maidana was the clear cut winner of that fight. Heck, Morales-Maidana was three-times closer compared to that.
