I've always been a big fan of Miranda's. He fights with passion and has the killer instinct in him and is always looking for the devastating KO. And he's never been in a dull fight...

Having said that, Miranda's team needs to move him along slowly and in a calculated manner. They need to put him with b level competition to develop and reinvent his style. I think if he gets thrown in with another big name fighter whose a puncher he's gonna get KO'd again and that could be career ending..

It doesn't matter how many b-level opponents they put him in with, he will still aways fail at the last hurdle because he has no real boxing talent, just a punch.

Same here, I've always liked Miranda for more or less the same reasons. I don't think his boxing future is particularly bright though. He's just far too limited technically to ever really be more than a gatekeeper, albeit a dangerous one. Anyone at the top handily beats him, regardless of whatever improvements he makes (and I can't really see them being drastic ones, though time may tell).

Would have loved to have seen him against Froch or Bika though.

I cannot understand why he keeps bulking up. He needs a dietician who can create a balance for him. The long layoff may serve him well though. I just have a gut feeling that he really needed that real time off.

I agree with all of this. However, I think he will end up being rushed and will get a big fight way too early against someone looking to cash in on his name.

Na, he can beat B level fighters. He showed it against Allan Green.

He is very limited I agree, but as long as he doesn't start goofing around and taking shots on purpose to show off for the crowd, he can be a good b level fighter. Those punches he took from Bute were his own fault, he wanted to be macho man, he got macho man.

He is naturally a big guy. I have seen him close at 200lbs and he looks very solid. He was losing too much muscle getting down to 160lbs and even 168lbs. I see him moving up again before too long and fighting cruiser weight. That is probably the most natural for him. I am not saying he will be a better fighter at these higher weights, only time will tell. I just hope he can take the punches better at the more natural weight.

I would hope that is the fight he is offered once he is ready. After that, if he can be successful, he has always wanted the fight with Pascal to happen.

I heard Miranda's fight will be shown tonight live on the international feed so outside the USA it will be shown. Im sure there will be some online live streams that people in USA can find to see it. Should be an easy night. I am interested to see what kind of power Miranda has weighing in at 182.5 lbs.
