What took Pacquiao so long to fight Mosley??? I was ready for the fight back in 2009 and Freddie said that Mosley was too big, I was soooo disappointed.

But for some reason Pacquiao fought Mosley after he had lost to Mayweather and drawed with Mora.

Does anyone know why Pacquiao waited 3 years later to fight Mosley?

To Floyd fans: So you guys are not liking those stats ......... but you all know that Clottey has been on vacation, Margarito was suspended and so on .....

Then why are you still so impressed with your hero when he has only done the following?:

      Floyd's record:
      2011 - 0 fights
      2010 - 1 fight (against a ~39 year old, 16 months inactive guy)
      2009 - 1 fight (tune-up fight)
      2008 - 0 fights

TOTAL = 2 fights in over 3.5 years and counting!!!

Because I watched boxing before 2008~ and have seen enough of him to know what kind of fighter he is/was. Him being semi-retired doesn't really change that~

Now get back to the matter at hand and quit trying to distract from that.

3 years ago Manny was ready to fight for his first time at 135lbs.

Why are you not asking that question of Floyd who has been in the higher weights longer than Manny?

Manny fought Cotto instead. That was a good test for Manny plus it was obvious to most since it was an Arum guy.

lol! Clottey being on vacation, you guys don't take that into account. Margarito being suspended, you don't take that into account.

As for Floyd, it makes me laugh what you just said. Floyd fans have been saying for the longest time that it's Manny who is holding up the fight while the rest of the world is saying that it's because Floyd is NOT READY TO FIGHT because he is on vacation and has personal problems.

Now that it fits your agenda, Floyd is semi-retired! lol ..... sorry for the distraction! lol!

They aren't fighting~ if you make a big deal about Floyd not being active make a big deal about that also be consistent~.

Floyd is semi-retired he isn't fighting and not actively looking to fight anyone~ that means he is not really doing anything or holding anything up because he isn't actively involved at this point in the sport. If they want to fight him make him an offer he can't refuse there is still a lot of money that that offer could still be made but Arum is content to not go that route because people just accept that HE SAYS Floyd won't fight. At some point in the future he will probably be back but that isn't right now.

When the fight could have got made Manny pitched a ***** fit which in turn lead to the whole matter going public which made the fight impossible to make, sorry that you can not deal in reality and need to search for some justification. You should just let go it is unhealthy~

Larry, you are serving them in a silver platter, man!

#2 = Marquez - tune-up fight against a guy that was 2 fights away from 130 and never fought above 135. NEVER!

#3 = Mosley - Why #3 when he fought Floyd in May, 2010, at ~39 years old? Because he beat a brick-less Margarito (who you are all including in your stats (Manny fighters)) and who was inactive for those 16 months!!!

P4P does not always mean that you are fighting the best primed fighter. Especially when they don't belong in your division or they have grown old!

                      I'm quite consistent.

I am not impressed with either Floyd or those guys but you have been consistently protecting (ie. excuses) Floyd with being semi-retired but those other guys you don't take that into account? When has Clottey last fought? Wasn't Margarito suspended? Will that not skew things?

So you are not impressed with Margarito since he hadn't won much prior to Manny fighting him BUT what do you say about Floyd fighting Mosley when Mosley was inactive for 16 months?

What about Floyd taking on Marquez?
