  • Comments Thread For: Froch: Dirrell and Abraham Were Easy, Johnson No Match!

WBC super middleweight champion Carl Froch is focused on his strategy to defeat Glen Johnson in the Super Six semi-finals. WBA champion Andre Ward is already in the finals and waiting for the winner of next Saturday's fight, which takes place in Atlantic City. Froch felt that he dominated Andre Dirrell in the first stage of the Super Six, and also made easy work of Arthur Abraham in the third stage. He credits Mikkel Kessler with giving him a tough encounter in the second stage. Kessler won a close decision over Froch but later withdrew from the Super Six with an eye injury.

If there's one fighter that can make me back up Andre Dirrell,it's definitely Carla Crotch.Without question, the most delusional and arrogant boxer in the sport today. It would be fine if his comments were tongue in cheek,or if he wasn't such a complete sloth, but the fact is,they aren't and he is.Crotch got a hometown gift decision that even those in attendance were sure he wasn't going to get.

And if Froch has a better resume than Ward,it's by the slightest of margins.Perhaps a win over Taylor edges it for him,but it's not by much. And as Dirrell proved, you don't need a big punch to put Froch on ***** street.

I like Froch,he's kool, but there is no way that he can believe that he dominated Dirrell. That was not a dominating performance.

I kinda sense Froch looking ahead towards a final with Ward. That would be a big mistake. Johnson is hardly a pushover.

I thought Dirrell really frustrated Froch and made him look bad.

I thought Dirrell made himself look bad. He just wouldn't engage. On the odd few times he did, he looked good. I think he was too respectful of Froch's power and a bit naive to think that he could come to the champs backyard and win by pot-shoting and running.

FROCH didn't say the truth...THE COBRA won a close fight with DIRRELL and that was a fight that took place in his home-town,if the fight so close was happened not in NOTTINGHAM but in USA probably the decision should have been for DIRRELL,another thing that FROCH probably doesn't remember is the fight with TAYLOR,TAYLOR was ahead on scorecards and if TAYLOR should have had the balls to get up he should have won the fight because the time was almost over,so FROCH without that victory?????He can understimate GLEN but it's a mistake,i really hope to see GLEN become two division world champ...THE ROAD WARRIOR is one of the most honest fighter in the game so far,I RESPECT GLEN LIKE FEW FIGHTERS IN THIS ERA!!!Give to GLEN a payday like PBF can have if he fights MANNY,GLEN can fight a tiger and a lion in a cage at the same time for that money with one day of notice!!!

Ok Froch, you're feeling yourself a bit too much now. The Dirrell fight was close and he actually hurt Froch in that fight so to say he dominated Dirrell is crazy. I think the Abraham fight may be going to this kid's head a bit, either that or somebody is gassin him up. Keep looking past Glen, i'm picking him to beat Froch anyway.
