2007 had some crazy as action fights...

I went from casual to hardcore real quick at 15 when I started seeing all these great fights. Izzy-Vasquez 1 & 2, Floyd/Oscar(was a good fight, not great but good HUGE EVENT) Pavlik vs Taylor ATG middleweight title slugfest. Action wise yes it was. But the highlight of my year I thought was fight of the year...

This is a random ass fight I just watched it again for like the 40th time but it was still pretty epic.

Kelly Pavlik vs Edison Miranda-THESE MOTHA****AS WENT TO WAR! It was a pretty brutal fight. Non-stop action THE WHOLE TIME. Brutal stoppage.

Any other great highlights from 2007 you thought were special? Hatton-Mayweather was a pretty good fight too although Cotto or Margs would have been a better fight. Even Mosley at the time. Cotto-Mosley was a damn good fight though. Think Cotto would have won against Floyd on that night too.

Don't forget Juan Manuel Marquez vs. Marco Antonio Barrera.

      Underrated good scrap.

Also Paul Williams vs. Antonio Margarito

2007 and 2009 have been some of the best boxing years from 2005 to present.

I remember 2008 being packed with PPV fights that didn't even belong in PPV.

2011 still has a chance to be one of the better years of boxing, it has good fights like Ortiz-Berto, Morales-Maidana, Marquez-Katsidis, Ward-Abraham, Hopkins-Pascal II, Dawson-Diaconu[for me at least], Lopez-Salido.

And if you like TKO blow outs, 2011 has Donaire-Montiel, Martinez-Dzinzuruk, Gamboa-Solis.

Also gotta look out for Johnson-Froch, it may be a good fight. Williams-Lara could be an all action fight.
