              Atlas says the fighters of a more solid era/golden era would not be surprised about Hopkins being 46 and still being good. Was 46 year olds dominating at the top, that common back in the day? I don't think so. But was it a common thing? I'm pretty sure boxers have retired in their mid-late 30's through the history of the sport.

                    I think what he meant was the talent level was higher and guys in the golden age new all of bhops tricks.
