How on earth can Martinez be labelled 'cherry picker'? He's beat some good guys and once fought at welterweight..

Yes Paul is tall, but not really proven, and not feared above 147.

Pavlik? Yes 160, but Pavlik has been washed up and unimpressive for ages, after Hopkin's, he has looked so bad compared to how he has looked before.

          Dzirink is green as anything.

Word on the street, he is to fight Ishida maybe next? A bum who beat a man who is hyped up.

Now he wants to face Pacquiao and Floyd, who are naturlly not really 154/150 fighters.

Make 147 and you may get them fool.
Paul is just tall and not feared above 147? I remember that he was ranked in the top 10 P4P and that people were considering him among the potential contenders for Manny Pacquiao at 147. Of course that after that brutal KO by Martinez he wasn't considered anymore.

Pavlik, lets see, he was ranked top 3 middleweight and even though he lost to Hopkins, he was still considered one of the best in the world. Remember, he lost to hopkins at 170 pounds, obviously not his best weight, so from what I remember he was still a strong and feared fighter.

Serhiy Dzinziruk was the LMW title holder, and yeah even unproved by top fighters he still was among the best LMW of the world.

By the way, I'm pretty sure that right now Floyd can make 154, but it's not really important to talk about him, he's retired.

So cherry picker? I don't think so.

ask a person in real life about sergio martinez you get: "what the guy down the street? juan's cousin? that guy gina is seeing?" NOBODY KNOWS WTF HE IS!!

nobody knows or cares what a "maravilla" is. nobody cares about his trainer with the fake name. "saremento" or whatever. his real name his HANK MENKOWITZ or something. they're such frauds.
Wow..did Sergio sleep with your girlfriend or something? You must have a personal vendetta against him because he's one of the most entertaining, old school fighters in the sport right now. :smh

Martinez is in no way shape or form a cherrypicker. Maybe the title of your next thread should be: If Martinez had not called out my God would I be calling him a cherrypicker?
