Comments Thread For: Zab Judah on Troubled Amir Khan Negotiations, More

Contrary to various reports, IBF junior welterweight champion Zab Judah spoke to BoxingScene.com, and said a potential unification showdown with WBA king Amir Khan was still facing numerous issues. Judah's promoter, Kathy Duva of Main Events, is attempting to reach a agreement with Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer. A date of July 23 is reserved by HBO. After WBC/WBO champion Timothy Bradley turned down a lucrative deal to face Khan, Duva and Schaefer began their discussions, but the two sides are still at odds over the financial terms, and now a new issue surfaced with respect to the location/venue of the fight.

So basically this come down to Judah wanting a 50/50 split.

He doesn't deserve it. Anyone that thinks he does is an idiot.

Zab has had big world fights with the likes of Mayweather, Spinks, Cotto, and Tyszu. I don't think it's rational to call anybody an idiot who thinks it should be a 50/50 in the United States.

In the UK I believe thats a different story. 50/50 is ridiculous.

Theres no doubt abut whos the biggest draw between Zab and Bradley. Regardless of how many losses he has Zab is allways a sneaky countershot away from being relevant and hes just done it again at 140.

50/50 would be fine specially if Bradley is a no show. Definitelly better zab than Morales or Maidana.
